【摘要】:ThispartofISO10893specifiesrequirementsforautomatedfullperipheralultrasonicshearwave(generatedbyconventionalorphasedarraytechnique)testingofseamlessandwelded(exceptsubmergedarc-welded)steeltubes,forthedetectionoflongitudinaland/ortransversalimperfections.Unlessotherwisespecifiedinthepurchaseorder,thetestingmethodisappliedforthedetectionofpredominantlylongitudinalimperfections.Inthecaseoftestingonlongitudinalimperfections,Lambwavetestingmaybeappliedatthediscretionofthemanufacturer.Forseamlesstubes,byagreementbetweenpurchaserandmanufacturer,testingprinciplesofthisinternationalstandardmaybeappliedtodetectimperfectionshavingotherorientations.ThispartofISO10893isapplicabletotheinspectionoftubeswithanoutsidediametergreaterthanorequalto10mm,normallywithanoutsidediameter-to-thicknessratiogreaterorequalto5.ThispartofISO10893canalsobeapplicabletothetestingofcircularhollowsections.
