【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethoddescribesamethodforthelaboratorymeasurementoftheeffectivenessoffloorcoveringsinreducingimpactnoisefromastandardtappingmachinethroughconcretefloors.Thetestresultsarenotnecessarilydirectlyrelatedtothesubjectiveevaluationsofthefloorcoverings.1.2Thistestmethodappliestoallfloorcoverings,whethersingleormulti-layered,asinstalledonastandardconcretefloor.Multi-layeredcoveringsmaybefactory-assembledorassembledatthetestlaboratory.1.3Thetestmethodappliesonlytolaboratorymeasurements.Itdoesnotapplytothemeasurementoftheeffectivenessofafloorcoveringinafieldsituation.1.4LaboratoryAccreditation8212;AprocedureforaccreditingalaboratoryforperformingthistestmethodisgiveninMethodE492.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
