【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationspecifiesrequirementsandgivesrecommendationsforthedesign,installationandmaintenanceoffixeddelugewaterspraysystemsinternalandexternaltobuildingsandindustrialplantandotherpremisesonland.ThisTechnicalSpecificationcoversonlytheuseofthetypesofsprinklersandsprayersspecifiedinEN12259-1.TherequirementsandrecommendationsofthisTechnicalSpecificationarealsoapplicabletoanyaddition,extension,repairorothermodificationtoawaterspraysystem.ThisTechnicalSpecificationdoesnotdealwithsprinklersystems.Itcoversthehazards,provisionofwatersupplies,componentstobeused,installationandtestingofthesystem,maintenance,andtheextensionofexistingsystems,andidentifiesconstructiondetailsofbuildingswhicharenecessaryforthesatisfactoryperformanceofwaterspraysystemscomplyingwiththisTechnicalSpecification.Thegeneralprinciplesmaywellapplytootheruses(e.g.maritimeuse),fortheseotherusesadditionalconsiderationswillalmostcertainlyhavetobetakenintoaccount.ForwaterspraysystemscoveredbythisTechnicalSpecificationtheauthorityshallbeconsulted.
