【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsformaterials,designandinstallationoftheinsulationofrefrigeratedliquefiedgas(RLG)storagetanks.RLGstoragetanksstoreliquefiedgaswithalowboilingpoint,i.e.belownormalambienttemperature.Theconceptofstoringsuchproductsinliquidformandinnon-pressurizedtanksthereforedependsonthecombinationoflatentheatofvaporizationandthermalinsulation.ConsequentlythermalinsulationforRLGstoragetanksisnotanancillarypartofthecontainmentsystem(asformostambientatmospherichydrocarbontanks)butitisanessentialcomponentandthestoragetankcannotoperatewithoutaproperlydesigned,installedandmaintainedinsulationsystem.ThemainfunctionsoftheinsulationinRLGstoragetanksare:—tomaintaintheboiloffbelowthespecificlimits;—toprotectthenonlowtemperatureparts/materialsofthetank(mainlytheoutertank)bymaintainingthesepartsattheirrequiredambienttemperature;—tolimitthecool-downofthefoundations/soilunderneaththetanktopreventdamagebyfrostheave;—toprevent/minimizecondensationandicingontheoutersurfacesofthetank.Awiderangeofinsulationmaterialsisavailable.Howeverthematerialpropertiesdiffergreatlyamongstthevariousgenericallydifferentmaterialsandalsowithinthesamegenericgroupofmaterials.ThereforewithinthescopeofthisEuropeanStandard,onlygeneralguidanceonselectionofmaterialsisgiven.NOTEForgeneralguidanceonselectionofmaterialsseeAnnexA.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththedesignandmanufactureofsitebuilt,vertical,cylindrical,flat-bottomedsteeltanksforthestorageofrefrigerated,liquefiedgaseswithoperatingtemperaturesbetween0°Cand-165°C.
